Blackdot Solutions initially partnered with Articulate to tune up its website, HubSpot, thought leadership and LinkedIn strategy. The open-source intelligence (OSINT) solutions specialist wanted to optimise their value and support a shift to account-based marketing.
Following a successful consultancy phase, our partnership evolved to include the launch of a sharp new website and podcast for OSINT professionals, with more thought leadership in the pipeline.

Boosting Blackdot’s presence with a new website and podcast launch.
Blackdot needed to ensure it could cut through the noise in the fast-changing open-source intelligence (OSINT) investigations software market. The Blackdot team wanted more proactive marketing expertise to support their ambitious growth plans.
We started with a discovery phase to develop a deep understanding of Blackdot’s product, market and buyers. We combined this knowledge with our SEO and CRO expertise to strengthen the foundations of their website, HubSpot architecture and LinkedIn strategy.
After this successful first phase, Blackdot engaged Articulate to help:

Now, Blackdot has a high-performance website that makes their leadership proud and a brand-amplifying podcast series featuring some of the top voices in OSINT. And that’s just the beginning.

Blackdot Solutions created Videris, the most powerful OSINT investigations software for fighting serious, organised and economic crime.
Its mission is to help investigators in government, financial services, professional services and private enterprise use OSINT for good, equipping them with the software they need to combat criminal activity effectively.

While the OSINT software market is showing signs of maturing, it’s still highly fragmented and overlaps with broader investigation tools. It means differentiation is critical for Blackdot, but their old website was holding them back from more targeted sales and marketing efforts and bolder thought leadership content.
Its teams needed a website and CRM that reflected the clarity Videris enables in investigations. They also needed that same clarity throughout their HubSpot workflows, with emphasis on lead scoring and segmentation and their demo booking system. Finally, they wanted to reach and convert more of their potential buyers into high-quality leads with thought leadership that showcased their expertise.
Turning website frustration into freedom
With their old Wordpress website, making simple changes to critical features like forms was challenging, and more advanced functionality required costly integrations.

Our teams provided navigation and information architecture expertise. We designed and developed the website using HubSpot Content Hub, while Blackdot worked on illustrations and copy.
An optimised sitemap and navigation to enhance user experience and support the buyer journey for their target audience.
A smart HubSpot form workflow so that leads were always routed to book a meeting with the most suitable consultant based on geography and industry. This allowed them to ditch an expensive third-party tool.
A seamless blend of content, and accessibility, ensuring the site reflects Blackdot’s brand while staying easy to manage.
