Who is it for?

Our Starter content strategy is for startups and smaller companies operating on a lean budget who need an injection of inbound marketing expertise and want credible, impactful thought leadership content. It’s also the bare minimum we need to write content for you. You might be:

  • Launching a new company or product line
  • Transitioning from startup to scaleup
  • Looking for inspiration from expert copywriters

The Starter content strategy is our fastest content strategy option (and fastest pathway to content production.) It’s suitable for businesses that want inspired and well-informed content ideas quickly, have hard launch dates or a lean budget. It requires less time for analysis than our Pro or Enterprise options, so it could be valuable to busy, stretched and time-poor marketing teams.

What’s included?

Up to five hours of desk research to:

  • Review your existing ideal customer profiles (ICPs), personas and key messages
  • Explore your existing content
  • Review your competitors’ content (up to three competitors)

A content gap analysis, which explores the topics, themes and formats your competitors are using that you are not (and vice versa.)

One hero campaign, which includes a title and summary for one piece of flagship content, key messaging and rationale, target SEO keywords and suggestions for supporting content formats.

An ideation, which includes working titles, SEO keyword rationale and outlines for up to six pieces of content such as thought leadership articles, case studies or educational guides (not additional flagship content).

The timeline

The precise timeline depends on timely cooperation from you, the client, and also our resource availability at the time of signing but the steps are as follows:
