HubSpot’s Global HEART Award acknowledges one partner yearly who is actively making a difference in their company around diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
Articulate Marketing is pleased to announce that we are this year’s winner!
What winning the HEART Award means for us
‘This is a really welcome validation of our efforts to put diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging first. The judges were especially impressed by the work we’ve done around neurodiversity and mental health awareness. Massive congratulations to us all for the work that everyone is putting in to make Articulate a great place to work.’
— Matthew Stibbe, Articulate Marketing CEO
Winning HubSpot’s Global HEART award is proof that we’re doing the right things for our team. Truly, it’s valuable beyond measure to have that effort validated by a third party. (Not marking our own homework and all that.)
In fact, our B Corp status provides a very clear structure for our DEI&B strategies as part of a wider commitment to social justice and good HR practices in the company.
This, alongside the fact that last year we were further awarded as Best For the World top five percent in the 'Workers' category, and achieved 'We Invest in People (Silver)', shows how we view such initiatives: long-term, with 'good enough' in the rear-view and 'better than before' ahead of us.
Over the last few years we’ve won several HubSpot Impact Awards, but this award is extra special. It’s only given to one partner per year. As such, we were honoured when the news was announced to the entire HubSpot partner community at the annual kick-off event last month.
Brian Garvey, VP of the Solutions Partner Program at HubSpot said, ‘Articulate Marketing has had an incredible impact on their customers’ success. The entire HubSpot community congratulates Articulate Marketing on this exciting achievement.’
As Matthew mentioned, our mental health awareness initiatives, particularly, have helped to build a well-supported team where everyone is empowered to be themselves at work, whoever they may be, whatever their background.
We've ramped up our initiatives in the last year in response to the pandemic, the war in Ukraine, the climate crisis and the economic turbulence, especially in the area of supporting mental wellbeing. It’s a really difficult time for a lot of people, so we’ve worked hard to acknowledge that and provide support where we can. We were pleased to find that in recent surveys we've had very positive feedback from our employees regarding how well the company supports them in this area. We've always sought feedback on our activities, from educational programmes to changing policies, to ensure they're having a real impact.
The results we've seen are a continued resiliency, mutual support and a cultural openness around the topic of mental health and belonging. This has carried us through trying times and has greatly contributed to the ambitious growth of the business over this last year. The fact that we've held fast - even brought in 50 percent more business than last year - is a testament to the impact of our company culture.
We help those at Articulate be their best selves and do their best work. 'Eudaimonia' is a word that reflects this: human flourishing. We give everyone - no matter who they are or where they come from - opportunities to flourish. That’s what it’s all about.
