Return to sender: how to diagnose email deliverability problems
Diagnosing email deliverability
Your email platform says 'delivered'. That only means a server somewhere accepted it. Whether it then reached an inbox, a spam folder or a security quarantine, the report doesn't say. A bounce at least tells you something went wrong. The spam folder tells you nothing at all. The only sign is a slow slide in opens and clicks, which is easy to blame on the subject line, the content or the list.
